| CCP in their opinion have decided to make changes to the way time cards are sold.

To simplify the ETC reseller program and attune our product offerings with industry standards, CCP will introduce new 60-day EVE Time Codes (ETC) and Game Time Cards (GTC) for $34.99 USD. These will replace the 30- and 90-day cards that were previously available through authorized resellers and the 50- and 100-day cards sold in the EVE Store. This will affect both online ETC's and Game Time Cards sold in the EVE Online Store. Orders may still be placed for time cards of all increments while supplies last or until the changeover to the new 60-day cards goes into effect on June 15, 2008.
This change will not affect other payment options such as credit cards etc. |
So, how does this affect the community?
In the recent past our only donations have been from the kick backs for the ETCs purchases made via our link. The money provided pays for our infastructure, ie.. Ventrilo. With this new change direct donations will become the better way for members to help keep us alive. The button already works so don't be late, donate!

| Seems like CCP wana make more money in uk terms it will raise cost of gaming on eve from roughly 7 pounds every 30 days to between £8.50-£9 every 30 days. Hopefully these are official ccp prices and not the third party slightly lower we usually find on other websites.
Thanks for the info. Will continue to use same affiliate website thats been setup. Definetly one of my goals is going to be to make enough isk a month to cover my accounts and that in game prices will be decent with isk for 60 day GTC's.

| | yes this has always been the case but one has to be able to generate the mils of isk it takes to do so. so a newb would not be able to do this but someone after 3 months of specific training could. |
